Making An Appointment

There are various ways for you to make an appointment to see one of our chiropractors. Call us on 0422 865170 or online through our website. www.truenorthchiro.com.au.
It is highly recommended that you schedule your appointments in advance to ensure availability. To ensure that all your concerns are addressed, please request an “Extended” appointment time when booking if you have something new or important to discuss with your practitioner. Regular office visits are scheduled for specific times.

Cancellations or missed appointments

We are a “by appointment only” practice and want to give you our full attention during your scheduled time with us. To ensure that all our valued patients can be accommodated, we kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. This allows someone else on our waiting list to benefit from that time. If you do not arrive or give insufficient notice, you will be charged the full fee for your consultation. To help you, we are happy to send email/SMS reminders 48 hours before your appointment so you have time to reschedule if necessary. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Late arrival

We do our best to run on time and appreciate your help in achieving this. Please arrive on time for your appointment so that we can address your concerns fully. If you are late, we may not be able to give you the time you deserve and will need to move on to our next patient. Thank you for your understanding.

Recalls and Reminders

Our software automatically sends SMS and email reminders for your appointments and recall letters for regular check-ups to those who want to maintain good health. Payment receipts are also sent via email. If you have any special requirements, please let us know.

Private health insurance

If your private health insurance covers chiropractic care, our practice has onsite HICAPs claiming available. Please bring your membership card to your appointment for on the spot claiming. If you do not have your card with you, you will need to pay the full amount and then claim it with your health insurance. We are unable to backdate any claims at a later visit. The percentage of the fee covered by your health insurance varies (please contact your health insurance provider for more information). The remaining balance must be paid on the day of service via EFTPOS or cash.

Medical referrals as part of Chronic Disease Management (formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC)

Our clinic works with medical practitioners as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage chronic conditions. Your GP may refer you to our clinic for some consultations with one of our practitioners. These visits are largely subsidised by Medicare, but there is still an out-of-pocket fee for the patient (please call the clinic to check the fee). To receive the subsidy, please bring a signed and dated referral with you on the day of your visit.
